After SCHOOL PROGRAM

The Chef Upstairs After-School Program motivates, empowers and educates students to develop healthy eating habits through hands-on learning while being introduced to cooking vocabulary and techniques, tools and utensils, food safety, kitchen math and more!

Discover a fun alternative to traditional child care that will keep your child entertained and engaged as we teach them the fundamentals of healthy eating and nutrition!

PROGRAM DETAILS:

Jr. CHEF 101: Sept. 7th, 2010–Jan 28th, 2011
Jr. CHEF 102: Jan 31st, 2011–June 24th, 2011
Monday to Friday
3:15pm – 6:00pm
Boys & Girls Ages 5+


The program includes:

  • Free bus pickup from Leaside and Davisville Schools
    (or supervised walk if close by)
  • Daily lesson plans and hands-on food preparation
  • Take-home recipes
  • Nutrition education
  • Food games
  • Arts and crafts
  • Supervised homework support
  • Lead by a certified chef and experienced support staff
  • Parent/guardian pick-up at 6:00pm

When you pick up your kids, you can pick dinner too! Register to be a part of our dinner program and enjoy beautifully prepared, balanced and sumptuous dinners that are ready to heat and serve.
