  • Children will learn the basics of food preparation, cooking techniques, healthy eating – but most of all, they'll learn how to create and enjoy great food.
  • It's Toronto's best hands-on entertaining and interactive cooking experience for children.
  • Your budding little chef is sure to enjoy the world of "sticky fingers" and they may even make dinner for you one day!

What Do We Offer in our Kid's Cooking Classes?

  • There are themed classes on Saturdays during fall, winter and spring
  • Week-long camp sessions at Christmas Break, March Break and during the summer vacation period.

SPRING 2013 - Kids Cooking class Program

SATURDAY APRIL 6th to JUNE 8TH

  • Classes are from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. each Saturday
  • Parents may drop off or stay and watch
  • Your choice - book the 8 week program or pay by the class
  • No classes on May 4th or 18th

Age Group: 4 to 13 yrs

Back for our 5th year, our Kids Cooking Class program is a "hands-on" experience that has been designed to get our Jr. Chefs comfortable in the kitchen, try new foods and most of all inspire kitchen creativity. Kids will learn to make all of the recipes from scratch, learn about the different uses of utensils, kitchen safety and hygiene, how to properly measure dry and liquid ingredients, how to follow a recipe, table etiquette and much more. Kids will enjoy the dishes they make at the end of each class, and have the recipes to take home. This program will equip your child with the skills to make meals from scratch and select the ingredients that they need to make healthy choices and tasty food for the whole family.

 

  • April 6th - Let's get started - week one is get acquainted with the kitchen. The kids will make a few dips and snacks that are tasty and healthy!
  • April 13th - Icing Fun - Let's decorate like a pro with fondant.
  • April 20th - Ravioli from Scratch - kids will learn how to make the pasta and filling to make their own ravioli.
  • April 27th - Chocolate - kid's love chocolate and what is more delicious than making their own chocolate fudge
  • May 4th - NO CLASSES
  • May 11th - BBQ Season - the summer's first long weekend is approaching and what is more delicious than a homemade burger and bun!
  • May 18th - NO CLASSES
  • May 25th - Spring Strawberry Festival - let's celebrate strawberry season with fresh berries and home made ice cream
  • June 1st - Spaghetti and Meatball - the kids will make their own sauce and homemade meatballs!
  • June 8th - Iron Chef Grand Finale - this is always a surprise. It will be a fun class that will chalenge the kids to use all of the skills that they have learned in the previous 7 weeks.

COST - $475 plus HST for the 8-class series or
