You have eaten in great restaurants, but you have never seen the kitchen or how your meal was prepared. We teach you the secrets of the great chefs and you will be the 'Sous Chef' for the evening. You will leave with recipes, better knife skills and some amzing tips!

Get ready for the 1st long weekend of the year with a great primer on grilling meat. We will talk about a variety of meats suitable for grilling, which method is best for each meat and how to prepare your meat for the grill.
- Greek Salad with grilled chicken
- Boneless leg of lamb with herb roasted potatoes
- We will discuss various cuts (tenderloin, ribeye, strip loin and sirloin). Wet aging vs dry aging. Grilling techniques. We will grill a ribeye steak using the reverse searing technique.

Payment and cancellation policy:
All students must recognize the Payment and Cancellation Policy prior to registering for any Cooking Class.
All cooking classes are non-refundable and must be paid for when booked.
HST will be applied to all cooking classes.
More than 7 days’ notice to The Chef Upstairs by email or phone: No refunds. Students will be eligible to reschedule to future class.
Less than 7 days’ notice to The Chef Upstairs: No refunds or rescheduling will be allowed.
No Notice : Where a student fails to inform The Chef Upstairs or fails to attend registered class – NO Rescheduled Class will be issued.
Gift Certificate Use: Where a student intends to use a gift certificate and is unable to attend a class, the above Cancellation policy is in effect. All Gift certificates will be debited or voided as applicable.
