Our Interactive and Social Cooking Classes are limited to twelve guests, so that everyone has a chance to join in and cook with the chef. It is fun, educational, toally interactive and always an experience to be remembered. Whether you are just learning to cook or you have been cooking for years, you will take home new tips and tricks, recipes and discover a new confidence in the kitchen.

Indian cooking BASICS

Learn the basics for cooking Indian fare. The importance of layering spices and ingredients.

  • Basmati Rice Salad with Mango and Cucumber

Cancellation & Change Policy:

All students must acknowledge the Cancellation & Change Policy prior to registering for any Cooking Class.

All cooking classes are non-refundable and must be paid for when booked.

HST will be applied to all cooking class fees.

More than 7 days’ notice to The Chef Upstairs by email or phone: No refunds. Students will be eligible to reschedule to a future class.

Less than 7 days’ notice to The Chef Upstairs: No refunds or rescheduling will be allowed, however we welcome you to send someone in your place.

No Notice : Where a student fails to inform The Chef Upstairs or fails to attend registered class – NO Rescheduled Class will be issued.

Gift Certificate Use: Where a student intends to use a gift certificate and is unable to attend a class, the above Cancellation policy is in effect. All Gift certificates will be debited or voided as applicable.
